Flowers of the Bog

Looking closely at the spongy sphagnum moss next to the boardwalk one can spot the small, delicate and unusual flower of the Bog Cranberry (Vaccinium oxycoccos) in bloom at the Mer Bleue Conservation Area, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Ramsar site no. 755.
